Your Initial Bankruptcy Consultation

What to Expect at Your First Meeting With Our Bankruptcy Attorneys

At the Price Law Firm, we represent clients in a broad range of consumer bankruptcy matters, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 filings. We represent clients in all types of consumer bankruptcy matters, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 throughout the Orlando-Kissimmee area and central Florida.

We understand that filing bankruptcy can be an overwhelming experience for people who have never been through the process before. When you hire our law firm, you will find that we are different in our approach. With some bankruptcy firms, you will go to your initial consultation and leave with a stack of forms to complete and return with little or no support from your lawyer.

At our firm, we take the time to work through the forms with you. When you leave our office, all your forms will be completed and all your questions will be answered. We explain the entire process and let you know what to expect along the way.

What You Will Need to Bring

In order to correctly complete your bankruptcy forms, we will need to have some specific information. Below is a list of the documents you should plan to have with you when you come to your first meeting:

  • Your tax returns from the last two years
  • Your bank statements from the last three months
  • Pay stubs from the last two months
  • Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN) from all vehicles, including cars, boats, etc.
  • A complete list of your expenses
  • A complete list of debts, if available

We will review all of your documentation and explain your debt relief options. We will make you aware of the pros and cons of each option and make sure that you have all of the information you need to make the best decision for your situation. We will also explain our fees and the various payment options we have available.
